Located atop Nob Hill in one of San Francisco's oldest and most celebrated neighborhoods, the Nob Hill Masonic Center is a versatile facility hosting a variety of events. Its intimate auditorium and convenient location have made it the concert hall of choice for performing artists. The cable car runs outside the front door, and the views are spectacular. There's no other facility in the city quite like it.

- Green Cities California
- To address our urgent urban environmental and social issues, sustainability professionals from a number of cities in California came together in late 2007 to create Green Cities California (GCC). The purpose of this new collaborative is to take action to accelerate local, regional, national and international efforts to achieve sustainability. Participating cities currently include Berkeley, Los Angeles, Pasadena, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica and the County of Marin, which together collectively represent over 8 million California residents. One of the first presentations to be made by GCC members will be delivered at the Ecocity Donference in San Francisco. John Stufflebean and David Assmann of San Francisco's Department of the Environment and Alex Hinds, director of the Marin County Community Development Agency will describe sustainability initiatives that GCC member cities are taking individually and in collaboration. Their collective impact to date will be assessed and GCC goals for the coming year described. Representatives from several GCC member cities will be available for a question and answer panel after the presentation.
